Today Maya (aka Moo, Moo-cow, Maya-Moo) turns 10! Maya.....our sweet and sour, part-fish, hard working, generous, silly, crazy "little" one, brings tons of laughs to the Cevallos house! We have seen God growing and changing her over the last few years. She is such a great picture of His amazing grace! Maya, we love you, and are so proud to have you as our daughter! You are by far the coolest 10 year old we know!!!!!
Lord, Thank you so much for Maya! We are so blessed to have her as our daughter. Father, I pray that you would give her a teachable heart, that is sensitive to your Spirit, and that would grow her in the understanding of your grace. I pray that the many things she accomplishes, would become opportunities for her to bring you greater glory, and to point others towards you. I pray that you would surround her with friends that love you, and that you would soften her heart, seasoning her words with kindness and grace. I thank you for her generosity, her compassion, and her drive! I pray that you would continue to make her useful for your kingdom purposes, and that she would grow more and more each day into a beautiful instrument for your purposes! Help us to parent her well, to love her well, and to encourage her to become the young woman you have called her to be! Thank you for this sweet girl!!!!
